We use 3D x-rays to provide us with a rotating three-dimensional image of your tooth, improving our diagnostic abilities and treatment outcomes. We adhere to stringent sterilization practices and techniques, and all instruments are heat autoclaved to maximize sterility and ensure your safety.
Dr. Strong is specially trained to provide local anesthesia to maximize your comfort during your root canal. Endodontic surgery can be used to locate fractures or hidden canals that do not appear on x-rays but still cause pain in the tooth. Damaged root surfaces or the surrounding bone may also be treated. The most common surgery used to save damaged teeth is an apicoectomy, or root-end resection. If you are a candidate for a surgical procedure, we will discuss this with you.
